Tucked into the Virginia countryside, Peacock Garden is a small flower farm where seasonal blooms, photography and family traditions come together. What started as a love of gardening has grown into a place where flowers are gathered, moments are photographed and memories are made.

Why the Peacock
The peacock has long symbolized beauty, resilience and renewal.
For our family, the meaning runs deeper.
In 2009, shortly after returning from overseas deployment, my husband wore his Navy dress blues to the Magic Kingdom while our daughter and I wore princess dresses. His medals caught the light in a way that reminded me of a peacock’s plume — bold, radiant and earned.
That image stayed with me.
The deep navy tones within the Peacock Garden logo are a quiet nod to that moment and to a legacy of service that continues to shape our family’s story.
Flowers, Photography & Tradition
Flowers have always brought peace and renewal into my life.
After my husband passed in 2011, I found myself drawn more deeply to gardens and photography. Flowers offered a reminder that even after the hardest seasons, life continues to bloom.
Peacock Garden grew from that idea.
Today the garden is a place where seasonal flowers are grown for arrangements, photography sessions take place among the blooms and family traditions — like baking small-batch poundcakes from a recipe passed down through generations — are shared with others.
Each part of Peacock Garden celebrates beauty, creativity and the joy of gathering.
